Galveston Bay Area Wetland Mitigation Assessment

The Texas Community Watershed Partners partnered with the Houston Area Research Council (HARC) to audit the effectiveness of wetland mitigation under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act in the 8-county Houston region. This project was done in two phases—a more extensive audit of the permit paper trail, and a much reduced sampling of permitted mitigation projects in the field.
