Sayena Farid Marandi is a Geospatial Analyst for TCWP. A native of Iran, she earned her PhD from Texas A&M University in 2017 with research in water quality science, best management practices, and geospatial analysis. Prior to joining the TCWP, Sayena was an environmental scientist consultant at the Everglades Foundation where she conducted research on America’s Everglades restoration efforts. Her area of expertise is in GIS, environmental science, and remote sensing. Sayena has a passion for protecting the environment and hence conservation has become one of her biggest interests.
