Have fun while helping to improve water quality and create habitat!

This wetland planting event is one of a series of Saturday plantings to establish a wetland in the newest portion of the lake at Exploration Green Nature Park in Clear Lake City.  The wetland will cleanse stormwater and provide habitat for aquatic animals in the lake (which is in fact a nationally known flood control basin following its performance during Hurricane Harvey!). All are welcome to take part in expanding the wetland we’ve been growing and planting with community going on three years.

A flyer can be downloaded here: WetlandPlantingFlyer_v1.
