Valeria Keese is a Coastal Resiliency Program Coordinator at Texas Coastal Watershed Partnership (TCWP). She assists communities with planning efforts to address long-term issues about land use, resource management, and resiliency by conducting Community Health and Resource Management (CHARM) workshops. Prior to joining TCWP, Valeria was a graduate research assistant conducting geospatial analysis for the Center for Texas Beaches and Shores. Where she helped contribute to the Governer’s Commission to Rebuild Texas Report; a statewide effort to mitigate for future storms. She also has experience in the private and public sector having worked for state, local municipalities, and an environmental consulting agency.
Valeria holds a B.S. in Environmental Geosciences from Texas A&M University, a M.S. in Marine Resources Management and a GIS certification from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
